Lindsie's Wedding Luau

A couple days before the wedding Lindsie and Rusty had a wedding luau to celebrate with the family. It was a lot of fun to get together and hang out with all of our family! And luckily the weather was great too!

Our trip to Jamaica!

Blake and I just returned from Jamaica after spending a fun week there! Jamaica was so much fun! We were a little worried looking at the weather before we went.... but it ended up being great! Every day, late afternoon, it would cloud up... but that's about it. We had such a nice and relaxing time while we were there. Every day we hung out at the beach and swam in the gorgeous water. The ocean looked like a swimming pool... super blue and SO clear! It was like we were snorkeling without the gear. You could just look down and you were able to see the bottom of the ocean.... as well as fish swimming around you (too close for comfort for me... so gross!). While we were there, we went to Dunn's Falls which was way cool! It was a 900 foot waterfall that we hiked up. We started at the beach and hiked up... in the waterfall... to the top. So pretty! We also took the '9 Mile Tour'. This was a tour that took us through all of St. Anne's, Jamaica, and took us to the top where we were able to see Bob Marley's home where he grew up and where he is buried. It was a neat experience to see the culture and to see how people live in Jamaica. But when we first go to the Bob Marley Mausoleum, they closed the gates and were selling weed like it was candy (in joints, special cake and special tea). Blake and I were the only was not partaking in this....everyone else was getting high. It was insane!
While we were in Jamaica, we celebrated our first anniversary!! It's crazy that it's already been a year! It's been a great year and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary then laying on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and getting to spend the day with the love of my life. :)

Blake at the Jerk Hut. Every day we had Jerk Chicken for lunch. SO YUMMY! But ohhh so spicy!
Bob Marley Tour
I love the two Rastas behind me!
These guys were playing Bob Marley songs. It was pretty bad.... but super entertaining. :)
Bob Marley's house.
This was the secret window that was selling the weed.

Blake playing the steel drums.

Blake really enjoyed is iPad while we were there. Gotta love books on the iPad.
These fish were freaking me out. They kept swimming towards us.... I made Blake take the pic cuz I didn't like being that close to them. Sick.
They called this dude King Solomon. He would come by every day.

Dunn's Falls!! Gorgeous!

Kenny Chesney Concert

On Saturday Blake and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert. I make poor Blake go to all these country things (rodeos, concerts, the Westerner)… and he doesn’t even like country. He's a sweetheart! The concert was a lot of fun! First Uncle Kracker came out and sang, then Billy Currington and finally Kenny. Kenny puts on a great show! Blake didn’t seem tortured, so I’m sure I’ll get him to go with me again. ;)

Strawberry Days Rodeo

I LOVE rodeos! Poor Blake had to marry a girl who loves cowboys and rodeos… which Blake is so not the ‘rodeo type’. Luckily he’s a great sport and goes with me! I love the Strawberry Days rodeo…. I try to go every year. Although the rodeo is great… the best part of going is the yummy strawberries and cream. YUM!

I don't even know who these kids are.... but they looked SO cute! When we have kids.... they will have cowboy boots! ;)

Trip to Ohio

A couple weeks ago we went to Ohio for Chase’s graduation from dental school. Blake’s entire family was able to come, which made the trip a lot of fun! The weather was pretty hot and humid…. But it was nice to have it finally feel like Summer.

At the graduation!
Twinners! We had no idea that we even owned the same shirt thingy. And of course we wear it on the same day.... and of all days, the graduation. Too funny!

We took a drive to Berlin which is where Amish country is. It was pretty cool to see.

I felt kinda dumb taking pictures, but o'well. I still did it. ;)

Cedar Point! It was such a blast and pretty much every ride we went on scared the crap out of me! It is totally worth a trip to Ohio just to go to Cedar Point!

This was probably the scariest ride of them all. It's the Dragster which it goes straight up 420 feet at 120 mph. I was shaking so bad when I got off, but totally fun!

We also hit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It was pretty fun to see.

We visited the Kirtland temple and the church historical site.
