6 Months!

I was at work and I got a call from the front desk. She said I had a delivery…. So I went down to pick it up. To my surprise… it was this huge, GORGEOUS flower arrangement. When I saw them.... I got a little teary-eyed. Blake remembered it was 6 months ago today that we got married! He is so sweet and so thoughtful…. I love him more than anything! It’s crazy that 6 months has already gone by! I absolutely love being married to Blake. I couldn’t be any happier. He is always putting a smile on my face. :)

Mexico!

I hate the cold! I have been bugging Blake to go on a trip somewhere warm…. So we finally booked a trip to Puerto Vallarta. We have both been there on cruise stops before, but neither one of us spent more than a few hours there. It was SO nice to get out of the cold and crappy weather. The weather there was perfect. Couldn’t ask for better. It was mid 70’s-80’s during the day and got in the mid 60’s at night. We spent pretty much every day at the beach and pool. So relaxing and so nice. We stayed at an All-Inclusive resort. It was nice but it felt like all we did was eat. Our regularly routine everyday was go lay out our towels on the beach chairs, eat breakfast, gym, beach, lunch, beach, dinner, beach or just hang out.

Every night there was a beautiful sunset. The view from our resort was perfect.

I mentioned to Blake that I wanted to zip-line. I HATE heights. However… I still wanted to do it. We went on one called the Canopy Tour which was about 11 zip lines all together. You went from canyon to canyon on the zip line. One of them was 600 ft above the ground!!! I about died on that one. Ok… not really…. But it scared me so bad. I was shaking pretty bad on the first couple zip-lines, but after a few, I was fine. Once we finished all the zip-lines, we had to ride mules to get back to the top of the mountain. It was a blast.

This trip was so fun! It just makes me wish summer was closer!

Jazz vs. Bulls

Blake and I went to the Jazz game last night. Although we lost, it was still fun! I have been waiting for this game since the schedule came out. I was SO excited to see Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer and of course, BOO Boozer! I hate that man! It would have been awesome if we could’ve won…. But the Jazz suck lately. O’well… my night was complete because I got to see Korver. ;)

But who would've guessed that this would be the last night that Jerry Sloan and Phil Johnson coached a game?! Sad!

Birthdays Galore!

The first of the year is always a busy time in my family for birthdays!
Lindsie’s is January 7th
Brooklyn’s is January 29th
My Mom’s is February 5th
And Steven’s is February 24th
It’s a busy couple of months for birthdays…. But so fun. I love getting together with my family for birthdays…. We always have a good time and lots of laughs. :)

Christmas

I love Christmas time! It came and went to fast.... like it seems to every year. Blake and I were dating last Christmas.... so this was our first 'married' Christmas. We decided that Santa would visit at 12:01am on Christmas because we had to go and celebrate with our families on Christmas morning. It was a fun day!! I love spending time with my family and Blake's family. So fun!

Temple Lights

A couple days before Christmas, we went with Blake's family to see the lights. I love going to see the lights at Christmas time! Although it doesn't change much from year to year, I still love to see them. It was kina rainy and freezing.... but it was still a good time. :)

Ugly Sweater Party

For the last two years we have been invited to an UGLY SWEATER Christmas Party! Trying to find an ugly sweater was more difficult that we thought…. But we were able to come up with something. We went to the D.I. and luckily found an adorable outfit for Blake (all found in the women’s section ;). We found him some lovely red polyester-elastic waist pants, a belly shirt-turtle neck, and an jean shirt adorned with Christmas flare. I was so proud to be his wife when he was wearing that outfit. ;) I didn’t go all out like Blake… I just borrowed my sweater from a friend. The party was a blast!! I love Christmas time!!
